Volume 2, Tectonics of Extensional Provinces. The focus is on rifts, passive margins, cratonic basins, and soft sediment tectonics occurring in extensional provinces.
Volume 3, Tectonics of Compressional Provinces/Strike Slip Tectonics. Deals with the tectonics of dominantly compressional provinces and the associated decollement tectonics of folded belts. A final section includes examples of strike-slip or wrench fault tectonics.
