Description:

Sequence Stratigraphy - Basic Concepts
Sequence Stratigraphy is a method developed to support geoscientists in the geologic interpretation of subsurface data, with the objective of predict play elements presence and quality before drilling. The method can be applied to cores, well logs, seismic lines (2-D and 3-D) and outcrops and in all depositional environments. The course lead by Victor Abreu will review the basic terminology of surfaces, systems tracts, sequence sets and stratigraphic hierarchy, and their definitions. See Full Description

Techincal Requirements:

~ Personal Computer
~ Zoom Meeting Software (a link will be sent at least 24 hours prior to the course)
~ High-Speed Internet Connection
~ Table Space for working on Excercises (11x17 format)
~ Color Pencils and Erasers.

Cancellation/Refunds/Substitutions
Cancellations received on or before May 12, 2020 will be fully refunded less a $50 processing fee. Refunds will not be issued after May 12, 2020 or for "no shows." You may substitute one participant for another. Cancellations or substitution requests should be emailed to Customer Service at [email protected].
